A little about Jeanine.

Jeanine Primm Jones, LMSW, is a licensed clinical social worker, artist and public speaker who coaches using custom made seminars – nationwide.  Jeanine works with JC Counseling and Consulting. 

​

She also does individual relationship coaching sessions for adults and young people above 16 years old.

 

Jeanine obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree from Hunter College and her Master’s Degree in Clinical Therapy Social Work from Simmons College.

For over ten years, she was responsible for teaching creative relationship health and abuse prevention seminars to NBA and NFL players. The seminars were required for all National Basketball Association (NBA) players. 

 

Jeanine has also provided interactive relationship health sessions in colleges, high schools, jails, training camps, and health centers. 

 

She served as a group facilitator of Emotional Emancipation Circles [developed by the Community Healing Network and the Association of Black Psychologists] that help Black adults heal from the psychological effects of racism. 

 

Her health career began as a Disease Intervention Specialist in Brooklyn, NY, where she convinced STD patients to identify and to notify their partners of potential STD exposure. She later coordinated the AIDS program for the Narcotics Rehabilitation Center at New York City’s Mt. Sinai Hospital.  

 

In the early 1990’s, Jeanine directed the Counseling and HIV Testing Program and Hotline for the City of Cambridge, MA.  She also established HIV testing in Cambridge Hospital, Cambridge high school and six neighborhood health centers around Cambridge.

 

She has served on the Treatment Advisory Board of the National Minority AIDS Council and written articles on various health topics. 

 

She is also a commissioned realist watercolor portrait painter who paints with an eye of a therapist. Her paintings inspire viewers to recognize her subjects and/or to experience an immediate connection with them. 

 

Jeanine happily cohabitates with her husband, Ken Jones, Esq.
